Relief Day!!

Can I start with a WOW!! First day back in the classroom and it was AMAZING...I had the best time. It was wonderful. I had missed that classroom so very bad. Doesn't matter what classroom, it is the CLASSROOM that I have missed.

Year 5 class, small class, lovely school. It was an amazing day. Full of characters, those kids were very very cool. Well behaved, didn't even lose them at the swimming lessons!!

Seriously, I have had the best day. I can't stop smiling....

WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!

Things are looking promising...

Ok so let's see, last time I was heading to the interview, it went very well. I am on their books for relief this year. I think it is a great thing for a principal to meet a relief teacher first, as she said, a relief teacher can do damage sometimes. So lovely to meet a principal who is THAT involved.

Further to my adventures in relief, I have had more emails and letters from different schools. Turns out things changed whilst I was 'away', you MUST have a working with children check and schools MUST have a copy of the card or at least the number - I think this is fantastic, just wish I had know before sending letters - I would have included it!!

More fun tho....and VERY excited...I HAVE a relief job/day already booked!! Yup, that is right and it is a Catholic school - even better :) Its a tuesday with a tiny year 5 class, only 16 students. I am sooo excited. Cannot wait to report back on this one.
